At the October RAMP meeting Representative Judy Clibborn, Chair of the House Transportation Committee and Senator Jim Kastama emphasized that the job creation potential of new transportation investments will determine project funding. In the coming legislative session, with the state budget deficient growing legislators will be looking to support (and hopefully fund) transportation projects that demonstrate long-term job growth and further economic development investments.
